Keeping you up to date with intellichat

One MILLION Saved Sales - and counting….

Intellichat Software Ltd are today celebrating after generating their 1 millionth saved sale for their clients. As an estimation this has helped Intellichat earn an extra $150 million in otherwise lost revenue for their clients.

Intellichat launched 18 months ago after a lengthy development period to develop Artificial intelligent technology which could be customized bespoke to each clients website so it could interact to a website visitor and push sales.

The technology is moving forward daily to keep up with the times, for example new browsers updates, improvements to increase interactions and new features to improve the consumers experience.

intellichat™ is primarily used as a sales tool to increase the sales conversion rate on a client’s website. Usually a special last minute discount is offered as an incentive to the visitor in an attempt to convert them into a customer. The success of intellichat™ can be assigned to the fact that every clients agents are programmed bespoke for their own website, catering for the client’s needs and totally customizable to their wishes.

Nick Baker, Marketing Director of intellichat™ explains, “When intellichat was first launched we never expected it would grow quite this quickly. The first specification to our technical team was a system stable enough to handle 15,000 chats a day, which to our surprise we hit in the first month and we are now hitting that figure every hour, so this project has really kept our technical team on their toes.”

intellichat™ will interact with users, without them ever knowing it’s a virtual agent. This is achieved by the use of human agent pictures on the chat windows and delayed typing which is all part of the illusion that the user is speaking with a real live person.

The intellichat™ ‘pay per performance’ model means that almost any e-commerce company, no matter how large or small they are, could see an immediate increase in sales with an average sales increase estimated at between 5-30% with the use of artificial intelligence software from intellichat.com. intellichat™ is part of the Just Develop It Group which includes Just Host professional web hosting provider.

intellichat Open Wickham Park

The JDI Open.

In homage to the British Open at Turnberry this weekend we held our own golf tournament, the JDI Open.

Featuring seasoned pros to rookies, and handicaps of 12 to 1200 we contested the first annual contest at Wickham Park Golf Club.

It was a fiercely contested 18 holes with the early leader Mike Burrow grabbing 2 birdies in the first three holes. There were some great swings on show and some not so great, with Nick Baker scoring a miserable 12 on the 7th. (“my new clubs are offset by 5 degrees” was his excuse)

Among the well performing rookies were intellichat’s Dan Short and Maxwell Clements both scoring under 100. The Closest to the Pin contest was won by Developer Rich Turner, this was contested on the 10th hole with the winner receiving the prize pot of £50. The unofficial longest drive award went to the woeful Nick Baker, adding a bright spot to his otherwise miserable day!! Among the others to have a round to forget were Technical Officer Dave Cooper who should defiantly stick to HTML!

The Shot of the Day was saved for the newly crowned JDI Open Champion Ben Rolison also of intellichat. Coming up the 17th with clubhouse leader Mike Burrow already home with a well respected 86, Rolison was under pressure knowing two pars were needed on the two proceeding holes had 170 yards to the pin after a respectable tee shot. With a 7 iron out of the bag he stuck a magnificent lofted fade into the green stopping dead within an inch of the Pin (Pictured), helping the executive Account Manger to a splendid Birdie. A par followed on the 18th crowning Rolison the JDI Champion!!

It was an extremely enjoyable day for all and all of JDI would like to ‘Congratulate‘ Ben on his triumph.

Time to Shine.

avn_julyintellichat Adult has been bathing in the limelight recently, with the success of sponsored poker nights and other such events at some of the biggest adult conferences.

This month, the AVN Media Network have placed intellichat directly in the spotlight by writing an editorial in their monthly Magazine. You might have heard about the notorious AVN Award Show which is the equivalent of the Oscars for the adult industry. Well the AVN Magazine is considered to be the gospel of the adult industry, it keeps readers up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, legal commentary, news and reviews.

Well it was time to be stripped bare and tell it how it is. To read the editorial titled: “intellichat Adult Saves the Sale”, just CLICK HERE.

Since the conception of intellichat ADULT, it has opened many new doors and enabled us to try out pioneering new additions that we could never envisage using on our main stream chats. Traditionally the intellichat window has resembled a typical Instant messaging (IM) interface, such as Live Messenger and Aim. Where our technology creates the possibility of real-time text-based communication between the consumer and a live virtual agent.

Now as the IM communication platforms increasingly evolve, the key focus has moved to usability and user interaction though the use of the audio/video chat sections. It was essential to create a similar look and feel for the interaction process. So we jetted to LA and filmed various adult actresses and actors performing a number of different scenes and skilfully stitched and sliced the video and audio into the traditional chat window, and born was the first intelligent video agent, an innovative piece of technology which has already seen great success.

Here at intellichat we are all about analysing and testing, whether it be split testing a chat skin or trawling through chat logs to find common trends; we do it all! Something we found that was notably apparent when recently analysing statistical data is that, the users sometimes make use of slang and or abbreviated expressions in order to quicken conversations or to reduce keystrokes, for example BRB and LOL. In order to make the virtual agent more realist (human) we needed to not only spell check each question but run an analysis against the most common expressions and shorthand’s. Additionally, the use of emotional expression has been universally adopted in order to portray ones emotional state, whether it be happy :) , sad :( or cheeky ;) , therefore compromising the face-to-face language one uses inherently when interacting with another human.

So from the simple quotation marks such as a semicolon and a bracket ; ) the ‘chat agent’ can communicate to the consumer and shows cheeky/flirtatious side, thus bridging the ‘computer to human interaction’ gap.

On a final note we would once again like to thank AVN for taking the time to interview us and giving us the opportunity to showcase our technology with their subscribers!

Sun, Sea and Sales…

cpalax

It seems like only yesterday that we were heading out to the states for Ad:tech San Francisco. As enjoyable as those gigs are, the endless isles of booths can become quite tiresome. So we were all happy to learn we are heading out to California for breath of fresh air!

Gone are the days of suits and booths, it’s time to trade them in for flip-flops and beach party’s.

We are joining some of our friends and taking part in the first annual CPALAX beach party. We shall be mixing with crowds of publishers and advertisers alike, at the scenic Laguna Estate Beach House on the 27th June.

This innovative approach to affiliate marketing has broken down the traditional barriers and allows the smaller advertiser more access to network with the industry’s heavy hitters. Sample a beer in one of the 3 bars on location or just simply relax on a sun lounger and close out your deals on the beach!!

We are so excited that we are jetting 5500 miles to join in the party, we expect to hook up with some old friends and definitely make some new ones.

As always if anyone would like to schedule a meeting with one of our reps who will be attending CPALAX please don’t hesitate to contact us and set up a meeting. sales@intellichat.com.

See you at the beach!!

Only a phone call away!

We received an email the a few days back, thanking us for our continual support, guidance and advice on how to squeeze ever conversion out of their site.

Heres the letter…..

Intellichat,

I want to thank you for continually addressing my issues with intellichat.

Every time I call, I know you’ll be there.

As soon as it was up and running, I got a sale.

Again, thanks for putting in the time to get it just the way I want.

Regards,

Pete

Tired from Ad:tech

Myself and 2 other intellichat account managers are just sat at the airport heading home from a very busy and successful Ad:tech San Francisco.

It was good to be back in the states catching up with existing clients, going out for meals and a few drinks along the way. We are all exhausted and eager to get home but have a 10hr flight in front of us.

Some of the parties got a little out of hand but hats off to the C2M Guys who showed us a great time!

We took some of the guys out a few days early to San Fran, to the Golden Gate and Alcatraz. I have to say we all thoroughly enjoyed our selves. We thank intellichat and everybody that we have met, who has made this a very beneficial and worthwhile trip over the pond.

We look forward to seeing you all soon! Now where’s my passport?

San Francisco

Saved $500,000 in just six months!

Yesterday Intellichat hit $500,000 in saved sale revenue for the Web Hosting industry. We have invested a lot of time into generating a huge database of web hosting related questions which has seen very positive results as it now fully utilizes intellichat as both a customer service and a sales retention tool.

Intellichat Migrates

I would love to explain that intellichat is migrating to the Bahamas or somewhere relaxing in the Caribbean but unfortunately it’s just a server migration, well I say “just a server migration” but that doesn’t do it justice. This was a mammoth task for our development team and credit to them, everything has seemed to go to plan.

After delaying the Intellichat migration last week due to issues with the load balancer (we had to order up a new more powerful one) we are finally in the last stages of testing. Brooke Bryan our head of development managed the migration and asked the Singlehop team to take some photos of our new servers housed in their state-of-the-art data center. The guys at Singlehop noted they used to have a great photographer, but he has moved over to London now, so our apologies for their photography skills.

Google Chrome - Great news for intlellichat?

Here at intellichat we are extremely pleased to announce the launch of Google’s new web browser named “Google Chrome”. The reason why we are so please to announce the release is that the launch function of intellichat is very much dependant on the web browser attributes and each browser will give a different alert message when you try to leave the page, (Usually when intellichat steps in)

Google Chrome has given the “Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page” alert a grateful twist as instead of giving the leaving visitor the options of “OK” and “Cancel” chrome gives you “Stay on this page” and “Leave this page”

I don’t yet have the stats on how chrome is performing for us against the other browsers as its a little early, but I’m very intrigued and have my fingers crossed that this new alert will come out on top as i have a hunch chrome will soon be browser of choice for most web masters.

Struggling Economy – Good for intellichat?

With the economy struggling, and online sales on a downward trend, here at intellichat we are actually relishing this current state of affairs, as through April, June and July we have just recorded a growth spike seeing us hit a peak to date of over 2.2 Million unique visitors last month.

It seems that companies are now searching for ways to optimize their performance and conversions as their daily sales numbers drop, with our intellichat, virtual sales agents being a popular choice.compete
